Privacy Policy
Blokaholic · Last updated: 4 October 2026
The short version
- No accounts or sign-up.
- No ads.
- No tracking, analytics or cookies.
- We do not collect, receive or sell any personal data.
- Your scores and settings stay on your own device.
Who we are
Blokaholic ("the game", "we", "us") is a block puzzle game that you can play in a web browser at blokaholic.app or as an app. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [contact email].
Information we collect
None. The game has no accounts, login, sign-up or contact forms. It does not use advertising, analytics, crash reporting or other third-party tracking tools, and it does not use cookies. Gameplay never sends information about you or how you play to us or to anyone else.
The game does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or other device permissions.
What is stored on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves a small amount of data only on your device, in your browser's local storage (or the app's equivalent storage). This includes:
- your best scores, daily streak and daily results;
- simple game statistics, such as games played and lines cleared;
- unlocked themes and skins, and progress points;
- settings such as sound, music and your chosen theme;
- whether you have already seen the tutorial hints.
This data is never sent to us and we cannot see it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Sharing scores and challenge links
If you choose to share a score or challenge a friend, the game creates a message and a link on your device. The link contains only a game seed (a number that decides the pieces), the game mode and your score, for example ?c=1qztwvf-c-k3. It does not contain your name or any other information about you. Score images are also generated on your device.
Nothing is shared unless you tap a share button. The message goes through whichever app you pick (for example a messaging or social app), and that app's own privacy policy applies to it.
Hosting
The web version is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service run by GitHub, Inc. Like most web hosts, GitHub may automatically log technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests the game's files, for security and to operate the service. We do not have access to these logs. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The game contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no chat with other players.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it. Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete. The data stored on your device is under your control, as described above.
If you have a concern, please contact us at [contact email]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, by adding analytics or online features), we will update this policy before the change takes effect and change the "Last updated" date above.
